
I insured that I asked the same amount of males and females for this questionnaire as I did the previous two. I did this so that my target audience was still well represented in the questionnaires to allow myself to create a product that I know they will like.

Again, I chose the same amount of people of each age group so that my target audience is represented.
3) What would attract you to look at a music

promo advert?
The majority of my participants chose that the factor that would attract them most to a music promo advert would be the use of an image of the artist. I believe this is because it would allow immediate recognition of the artist involved and this is most probably what a fan would be looking out for. The second most popular choice was an image of the artists promo music video, I believe this would be because they can get an insight into the promo and what is the general theme of the song/album through a featuring music promo. The third most popular choice was the title, I believe this could be because they may have already heard of the album through different types of marketing and therefore the title could ring a bell and attract them to it. Information about the music promo, i.e where to find it was also an option chosen, I believe this was less popular because it may not be necessarily a factor that attracted the audience but still one they would expect to see.
4) Apart from the name of the music promo and the artist is there any other information you would like to see on a music promo advert?
This question got a range of results for example;
- Websites for the particular artist
- Album release dates
- Websites in which to find the music promo
- Details of the song
- Song quote
- A title that stands out
- Name of artist that stands out
